School Activities:
1. Face Painting. The students will have smiley faces or another

2. Balloon pop relay. The balloon will represent a negative term
associated with mental health. Students will be split into two teams
and will run and pop the balloon by sitting on it, run back and tag the
next student. The team finishing first is the winner.
3. Hop scotch. Using chalk, students will draw the squares on the
sidewalk; within each square, a positive feeling will be written.
Students will hop through until they reach the end.
4. Make your own stress ball. Using balloons and flour; students
will create their own mechanism to deal with stress and anger, a stress
ball! The students will then decorate the balloon.
5. 3-Legged Race. This will help to increase camaraderie and
communication among youth.
6. Coloring books. Upon completion of activities, students
pre-K-3rd grade will be given an LA-Y.E.S. coloring activity book about
feelings and emotions.
