Job Title: Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator
Healthy Teen Network is a Baltimore-based national membership organization focused on teen pregnancy prevention and building support for young families. Healthy Teen Network seeks to add an experienced trainer to our training and technical assistance department. Criteria include a minimum of a Bachelor degree, with preference given to a Masters-prepared candidate with five or more years experience in education and training design, implementation, and evaluation; Spanish language skills a plus.
HTN requires demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
- current research in the field of adolescent reproductive health
- science-based or evidence-based prevention practices and programs
- adult learning principles that guide the development of training design
- components of a skills-building training design
- components of providing quality technical assistance
- a repertoire of training activities that build knowledge and skills
- evaluation basics that include developing training goals, objectives, outcome indicators, pre and post-test surveys, data entry and analysis, and summary reporting
The successful candidate will be an independent worker while being an active member of our training team. S/he will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable traveling nationally at least once a month. HTN is an equal opportunity employer.
