At the Chicago Department of Public Health you will work with a team of
passionate and dedicated professionals who contributes to maintain the
health population of 77 neighborhoods at more than 40 sites that
includes providing health promotion, prevention and education for the
City’s population. We currently have the following opportunities:

Duties:

* Conducts health assessments; provides treatments, immunizations,
education, and other nursing interventions; organizes caseloads and
processes billing and health information; provides nursing care to all
types of clients: pediatric, women’s health and adult health as
determined by the need for nursing services. Performs other duties as
assigned.

Requirements :

* A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing accredited by the National League
for Nursing or an approved foreign credential evaluation, supplemented
by one year of public health nursing experience. Must be licensed to
practice as a Registered Nurse. Applicants must possess a valid State
of Illinois Registered Nurse license at the time of employment.

Note: Bi-lingual (Spanish) candidates will be given first consideration.

Note: Public Health Nurse II requires at least one (1) year of work
experience in public health nursing.
