Louisiana Public Health Institute is looking for students who would like to conduct medical chart reviews at local community clinics during the end of May and beginning of June. The hourly is $15 and interested students would work in teams with me and other LPHI staff members. The purpose of the exercise is to check that the data that each clinic submitted matches the information found in the patient medical record.

Medical Chart Reviewer
Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI) is an entity that functions as a convener to improve health status and foster innovations in health systems. LPHI is currently recruiting medical chart reviewers for a short term contract.
Position Summary:
The Medical Chart Reviewer will work as part of a team to visit clinical practices in the greater New Orleans area and perform reviews of a sample of medical records at each facility. This individual will be responsible for comparing information submitted to LPHI with the actual medical record to check for accuracy and completeness. The Medical Chart Reviewer should have previous experience or training in health care or public health but will be training and supported by LPHI staff to perform the medical chart reviews.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience or training in health care or public health.
- Bachelor’s degree in a health related field preferred.
Compensation and Timeline:
- Hourly wage is $15.
- Must be available during May and possibly June.
