Global Health Practicum
This practicum provides an introduction to rural community health strategies in a global context through education and practice. The practicum will focus on current AMOS methodologies and approaches to improving maternal and child health in low-resource, low-access settings. The goal is to understand how building on community strengths and facilitating strategic community empowerment help improve health outcomes. The course will introduce participants to community-based primary health care practices and provide hands-on training in rural communities.
