The American Chemistry Council, a national trade association
representing the world’s leading chemical and plastics manufacturers,
has an excellent opportunity for a Manager of Environment, Health and
Safety issues to support our members’ activities in the areas of
product stewardship, recycling and recovery, raw materials analysis
and more. This function encompasses all environmental, health and
safety issues related to the polyurethanes industry as a key member
of our business unit, the Center for Polyurethanes Industry.

As EH&S Manager, you will be responsible for guiding the strategic
planning and budget development of assigned CPI Groups; monitoring
and reporting on the financial status of Group projects; act as study
and report adviser for technical projects; communicate results of
research studies; educate downstream users on the health and safety
of polyurethane raw materials, coordinate & facilitate meetings
including agendas, minutes, action item memos, and; write, edit and
review materials involving EH&S issues; and provide a critical
interface with sister and downstream industry groups.
