Part time employment opportunities are available for candidates in the New Orleans area to work as Field Interviewers.
Interested candidates will list addresses, locate participants, and conduct interviews in-home or by phone for the Displaced New Orleans Residents Study (DNORS).
Candidates will be trained on all aspects of the necessary tasks required to perform the job.
Successful Field Interviewers will have good computer skills, reliable transportation, work in a variety of area neighborhoods and be available days, nights, and weekends.
Pay rate for the New Orleans area is $12.00/hr. Interviewers are reimbursed for mileage and expenses. An additional $2.00/hr. differential will be given to hires who certify with the University as Spanish speaking. Higher starting rates for applicants with prior data collection experience may be available. No college degree required.
