Paid Graduate Student Internship – Local Perinatal HIV Case Review Pilot
Project
Applicants wanted for a new public health pilot project in the Baton
Rouge area to examine the medical and social issues surrounding local
perinatal HIV exposure and transmission. The position involves data
collection/abstraction and the coordination of quarterly case review and
community action meetings for a multidisciplinary medical professional
team. Some previous clinical, social science research, and/or record
abstraction experience is a plus, but not required.
Education/Experience: Students with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree w/
some professional level work experience. Candidates pursuing advanced
degrees in public health or in clinical, social, and biological sciences
preferred.
