Andrew H. Wilson Charter School (3617 General Pershing St, New Orleans) is seeking applications for two Garden and Food Education Coordinators through Louisiana Delta Service Corps. Applications due ASAP. The service term starts September 1st.
We are seeking creative, self-starting individuals who are passionate about food justice, social justice, education, youth development, experiential learning, and community-building. We are looking for folks with go-getter attitudes who are ready to jump in and continue coordinating and guiding the mission of Wilson’s vibrant and expanding garden and food education program. Experience working with youth is a plus. Background in gardening, food preparation, cooking, and some nutrition knowledge is also beneficial.
