WHAT YOU’LL DO
This job is responsible for public outreach during community events, public meetings, government agency meetings, and other opportunities to communicate the current and upcoming projects. Coordinates the work of contractors and internal stakeholders. Responsible for coordinating all project communications, collaborating internally with various teams and externally reaching out to communities.
- Advises management of potential and actual community issues and concerns related to projects.
- Coordinates community outreach meetings on specific projects.
- Coordinates presentation on public setting on construction projects and programs.
- Attends various public meetings upon request and provides professional responses to public concerns and issues.
- Researches, develops and prepares information and resources for use in presentations and outreach efforts.
- Works with various OHS teams to determine whether outreach for a specific project will be handled by a consultant or internal teams.
WHAT THEY SEEK
Education
- Required – Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or Healthcare or related field
Work Experience
- Required – 6 years experience developing and executing communications and community outreach programs.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
