Position: Sr. Technical Officer, SBC (Thailand)
Position Description:
Provides leadership and technical assistance in the development and implementation of strategic behavioral communications (SBC) strategies and activities in the Asia and Pacific Region. Focuses primarily on HIV prevention and promotion of health care-seeking behavior among most at risk populations (MARPs), but may also support behavior change related to other infectious diseases (malaria, tuberculosis, etc), non-communicable diseases and reproductive health.
Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA in public health or related field, and 7-9 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases or family planning with international development programs; or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 5 – 7 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases or family planning with international development programs; or PhD, MD or similar degree with 3 – 5 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases or family planning with international development programs. Overseas field experience required. Ability to travel internationally at least 40% of the time.
