Displaced New Orleans Residents Study

Part time employment opportunities are available for candidates in the New Orleans area. Interested candidates will perform listing, tracking and go door-to-door conducting in-home interviews for the Displaced New Orleans Residents Study (DNORS) conducted by the University of Michigan. Candidates will be trained on all aspects of the necessary tasks required to perform the job.

Successful Field Interviewers will:

· Conduct listing, tracking and in-person interviews with selected household members

· Enter data into a laptop computer

· Have reliable transportation

· Be available to work in a variety of area neighborhoods and be available days, nights, and weekends

· Pay rate for the New Orleans area is $12.00/hr. and selected candidates who are bi-lingual Spanish speaking and certify may be eligible for a $2.00/hr. differential. Interviewers are reimbursed for mileage and expenses. Higher starting rates for applicants with prior data collection experience may be available. No college degree required.
