This week we are highlighting Dr. Alessandra Bazzano, PhD, MPH. Dr. Bazzano’s research interests focus on community based nutrition, specifically that of women and children.
She recently had an article published in the Journal of Stroke titled, “Association between Hemoglobin A1c and Stroke Risk in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes.” This article looks at the association between a specific hemoglobin, typically used as a glycemic level indicator, and the risk of stroke in patients with Type 2 diabetes.
