Brief description of the responsibilities of this position: Provide substance abuse counseling and treatment services in collaboration with NO/AIDS Task Force. This position will be housed at NO/AIDS Task Force and will serve clients receiving services through NO/AIDS Task Force. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to providing group and individual counseling sessions, facilitating educational group sessions, providing screening and assessment services, developing and updating client treatment plans, tracking and reporting client level data, and maintaining accurate client records. Applicant must be fluent in Spanish and English and be able to deliver all services orally in Spanish and English. Applicant must be able to translate all service and programming material into Spanish and English.
Minimum educational/experience/degree held criteria for this position: Applicant must have a Masters Degree in a human service field, preferably Social Work or Community Mental Health Counseling. MSW/MPH a plus. Experience working in the Substance Abuse field strongly preferred, preferably with direct treatment service delivery.
