The Population, Reproductive, and Sexual Health Section of APHA seeks applications for student scholarships to attend the annual meeting
Each year the PRSH Section recognizes a number of exceptional students with student scholarships to defray the costs of participating in the annual meeting. Student scholarship recipients exemplify the future of the reproductive and sexual health workforce. In 2014, the PRSH Section will award 4-6 awards of $250 each.
Current undergraduate and graduate students in any field of study are encouraged to apply. In addition to attending the annual meeting, student scholarship recipients are expected to serve for at least two hours at the PRSH booth during the exhibit and attend the PRSH Awards Ceremony & Reception on Monday, November 18th, 6:30-8:30pm. Preference is given to first time annual meeting attendees and those who are presenting at an oral or poster session.
To apply, please send your completed application form (see link below) to the Chair of the PRSH Section, Dr. Angel M. Foster (angel.foster@uottawa.ca ) from the University of Ottawa, no later than September 15, 2014. Be sure to specify in the subject line of the email that you are applying for a student scholarship. Awardees will be notified no later than October 1st.
