Congratulations to MCHLT alumna Lila Arnaud, MPH, for her recent award from the Greater New Orleans Foundation Emerging Leaders program!
The foundation selected 19 NOLA professionals to participate in its inaugural Emerging Leaders Program which offers 65 hours of training by national experts on nonprofit management. Lila Arnaud was one of the selected few for her work as the Community Education Manager at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. All of the awardees work in the human service sector which includes organizations that shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and provide child care for working families.
As a student at Tulane, Lila was passionate about reproductive health, especially in adolescents. This passion continues, as she works to develop not only her own leadership capacities, but those of other women.
