Academic Nutritionist Seconded to a University Masters Program
Location: Ethiopia
Qualifications: Nutritionist with a minimum of a Master degree in nutrition. Experience teaching nutrition courses at the University level. Interest in working with and mentoring masters level nutrition students at the University and in the community.
Duties:
- Teach University nutrition courses, particularly those related to community nutrition and HIV and nutrition
- Establish a fellowship program between a University Masters Nutrition Degree Program and the Ethiopia Ministry of Health (MoH) Regional Health Bureaus (RHBs)
- Mentor recent master nutrition graduates in a fellowship program that are placed in RHB/Regional HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Offices
- Participate in the development of pre-service curriculum for nursing and nutrition students
