Internship – NO/AIDS Task Force

Organization:

NO/AIDS Task Force was founded in 1983, is one of the oldest and largest AIDS Service Organizations in the Gulf South. We have been providing, care to men, women and families affected by HIV and AIDS for over 25 years. The agency receives funding from several institutes such as Office of Public Health, State of Louisiana; Primary Care Access and Stabilization grant by Louisiana Public Health Institute; The Mayor’s Office of Health Policy and AIDS Funding, CDC Prevention, SAMHSA and several other research projects.

Position:

An opportunity for creative and dynamic public health professional is available to assist with Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities at the agency.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of Qualitative and Quantitative analysis methods

Data entry, analysis and interpretation experience using SPSS, Excel, and Access required

Report writing and presentation experience

Knowledge of program evaluation

Provide Technical Assistance (T/A)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required as well as the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people and work well on a team.

Experience as a result of this Internship:

Experience translating evaluation results into practical recommendations and applications

Experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods

HIV/AIDS program evaluation design experience
