Technical Officer, SBC/MSM (China):
Position Description:
The Technical Officer, Strategic Behavioral Change Communication/Men Who have Sex with Men works under the guidance of the Senior SBC Officer and with the intervention team to provide technical assistance for the design, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of SBC strategies and materials as well as related trainings for all FHI China projects. S/he provides direct technical assistance on MSM programming to implementing partners, coordinates technical assistance and organizes training in the area of MSM and men sexual health. S/he develops, monitors, and coordinates technical assistance for FHI subgrants to partners as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in communication, public health, other health related fields, or social sciences. At least 3 years experience in managing or implementing HIV interventions in China for MSM and other MARPs. Experience in SBC/IEC production, participatory training and audience research. Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin. Computer software skills, especially MS office and SPSS. This is not an expatriate position. No expatriate benefits or allowances provided.
