TRAINING FROM THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE IN MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH LEADERS

Seminars, Workshops, and Coursework
The program emphasizes continuous learning and skill development through a variety of training avenues such as seminars, workshops, and specialized coursework. These training sessions are designed to equip MCH practitioners, both current and aspiring, with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills essential for effectively addressing the diverse and evolving needs of women, infants, children, youth, and families.
Mentoring and Long-Term Goal Facilitation:
An integral part of the training strategy involves one-on-one mentoring and guidance to assist participants in the development of their long-term career goals. This mentoring aspect provides personalized support and direction, nurturing professional growth and offering guidance for individuals to chart their career paths in the maternal and child health field.

Practica and Community Service Outreach Activities:
The program incorporates practical experience through practica and community service outreach activities. These hands-on experiences allow participants to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, engaging directly with communities. This practical application of skills not only enriches their learning but also serves the immediate health needs of the target populations, contributing to the participants’ comprehensive training and understanding of the challenges faced by MCH practitioners.
These training initiatives are conducted within the framework of partnerships with public health agencies and like-minded organizations, providing a collaborative environment that supports the training program’s comprehensive approach to MCH education. Find out more in the Community section.
