Qualitative Analysis Specialist
With the Creating Community Connections Project
The Mary Amelia Center is looking for a student to participate as the Qualitative Analysis Specialist for an environmental scan of three local neighborhoods. This is a PAID part-time position which offers hands on experience with development and use of qualitative research instruments for interviews and focus groups and the opportunity to develop a better understanding of local culture and community.
Qualifications:
· Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Atlas-ti (experience in SASS or SPSS preferred)
· Experience working with community level interventions
· Experience analyzing qualitative data
· Completion of the SPHTM class INHL 626: Formal Qualitative Methods or equivalent
Responsibilities include:
· Attend weekly Creating Community Connections team meetings
· Develop and implement a project data analysis plan
· Assist in data transcription and coding
· Train CCC team members on data analysis procedures
· Assist in compiling a comprehensive project report
*Reliable transportation for outreach activities is preferred.
*Reimbursement for mileage will be given.
