The Office of Applied Studies, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, has a job opening for a statistician in the Division of Population Surveys. The person selected for this job will serve as a senior statistician with responsibility for the planning,
development, and technical direction of a survey research program involving the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), a large nationwide survey that is the Federal Government’s major source of data on substance abuse prevalence. The incumbent will be responsible for directing all aspects of the
NSDUH as the Project Officer on the contract. This also involves coordinating the contractor’s work with a team of statisticians and epidemiologists within the Division of Population Surveys who help provide technical direction to the project.
