MCH Specialization Curriculum
To fulfill the requirements for the MCH Specialization, students must take 4 courses (a total of 12 credits). The four courses include two core MCH courses, one course focused on MCH policies and programs, and one course focused on interventions and polices targeting MCH issues. They are further described in the University Catalog. It is intended that the 12 credits will serve as electives and thus (generally) be included in the credits required for completing one’s degree program.
Additionally, for MCH Leaders, the applied practice experience (APE) and integrative learning experience (ILE) must be MCH-related.
