Environmental Education Intern

Imago is a grassroots urban environmental education organization
located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Environmental Education Intern is a
wonderful position if you are interested in learning more about the
everyday, behind-the-scenes doings of a nonprofit and environmental
education facility. While being a principle provider of education,
the intern also has an opportunity to learn and become involved with
all aspects our nonprofits – including administration, education,
greenspace, etc.
Duties include preparing and presenting environmental education
programs to school and community groups, in particular low – income,
urban groups. Leading volunteer groups. Developing and presenting
community building/environmental education opportunities for
neighborhood children. The completion of a project(s) designed to
improve Imago and give the intern opportunities for growth and
experience.
Interested applicants should be motivated and willing to learn, have
a passion for environmental issues, and be comfortable leading
children groups.
