Job Description
Program Coordinator: Act as the liaison between the company and the customer in clarifying, defining and communicating the customer’s business needs. Provide program coordination and ongoing support to Early Hearing Detection and Intervention programs and to Newborn Bloodspot Screening programs. Provide assistance in the implementation and maintenance of screening programs. Assist with data analysis and special report requests. The Program Coordinator is the internal subject matter expert responsible for carrying their customer’s needs through to fruition.
Roles & Responsibilities

A subject matter expert in newborn hearing screening and/ or maternal and child health or health care administration preferred

Prior experience in Early Hearing Detection and Intervention and/or Newborn Bloodspot Screening programs optimal

Act as the customer’s advocate in resolving issues and ensuring customer’s needs and requirements are met

Responsible for fielding customer issues and assisting internal technical support staff

Represent the company’s interests to the customer

Experience in presenting papers or writing papers on topics related to newborn screening

Travel to professional meetings as a company representative, assist with sales efforts

Collaborate with customers on formal presentations as requested

Required Skills

Computer literate, proficient in MS Office – especially EXCEL

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop documents for implementation, training and support of the customer as well as respond to grants and proposals

Statistical and analytical experience a plus – to assist in performance measures for the customer

Education
Masters Degree in Public Health, Audiology, Hospital Administration, Genetics, or related field. Experience in state or federal public health or private healthcare preferred.
